2018-19 MEETING AND PROGRAM CALENDAR
September 19 at 5pm -Deco Lounge at Fine Arts Center-Join us for our first membership gathering of the 2018-19 season. The musical program will be presented by Thomas Wilson, associate conductor of the Philharmonic. Appetizers will be served. Cash bar.
October 17 at 11am–Mena Home 6 Eagle Ave., Manitou Springs. If you haven’t been to Hope and Joe’s spectacular home and garden, you will not want to miss this meeting. Program will be provided by members of the Philharmonic. Boxed lunch will be served. Directions-Hwy 24 west to Manitou Springs exit. West on Manitou Ave. to Pawnee Ave. Left on Pawnee(across from Stagecoach Inn). Take Pawnee .4 miles just past Jade Ave. where you will see a series of mailboxes on the left. Turn left on Eagle Ave in front of brown stucco house. (Street sign is hidden by the trees) Street ends in front of Mena home. Valet Parking will be available.
November 8 at 6:30 pm-Pikes Peak Center-A joint venture with the Philharmonic. Our members and guests are invited to attend a “Musical Chairs” rehearsal of the Philharmonic’s upcoming performance. Desserts will be served. Note: this meeting date is being moved from the third Wednesday of November to Thursday, November 8 to accommodate the Philharmonic rehearsal schedule.

December 13 at 5:30pm-Winter Dinner-Garden of the Gods Club
January 16-at 9:30-Broadmoor World Arena Penrose Club-A favorite meeting spot of the Guild and its members. Program will be provided by George Preston, Executive Director of KCME. Breakfast will be served. Park in west lot and enter through the Club Entrance and proceed downstairs on the elevator to the Penrose Club
February 20-at 11:30am-Colorado Springs Conservatory, 415 S. Sahwatch-Great to be back at the Conservatory for our program featuring the winners of the Youth Symphony Young Solo Artist Competition. Light lunch will be served. Program sponsored by Dr. Susan Rae Jensen.
March 20-at 5:30pm-The venue for the March program has been changed to Coquette’s Bistro , 616 S, Tejon-Great new program location for the Guild. Sergei Vassiliev, CSPO principal clarinet will perform. Appetizers will be served.
April 10, at 5:30-Motif Jazz Cafe 182 E. Cheyenne Mountain Blvd. -Program provided by Marc Neihoff Jazz Trio. Appetizers will be served. *Note the date for this program is being changed to the 2nd Wednesday in April due to the Philharmonic’s Maestro Circle trip to Bogota the following week.
May 12 at 11:00-2:00-Mothers Day Brunch The Pinery 775 W. Bijou-Program TBD
May 15, at 5:30-Warehouse Restaurant 25 W. Cimarron-Meeting and program hosted by CS Philharmonic staff

2017-18 MEETING AND PROGRAM CALENDAR
September 13 at 5 pm–Home of Anne Young, 325 Northfield Rd. Directions-Woodmen Rd. west to Westwood Rd. turn west onto Westwood and right onto Northfield Rd. Follow Northfield to end of the road. Wine and appetizers will be served. *Note-this meeting is being moved to the 2nd Wednesday in September. All other meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.
October 18 at 10 am–Penrose Main Library-Carnegie Room. Park in the lot behind the library and enter through the back doors. Josep Caballe-Domenech guest speaker
November 15 at 10 am-Tim Gill Center for Public Media. 315 East Costilla . Lots of free parking. Boxed lunches will be served at 11:30. Gary Nicholson will be guest speaker/performer.
January 17 at 10 am–Broadmoor World Arena Penrose Room. Park in west lot and enter at Clubhouse entrance
February 21 at 10 am–Graner Music 4460 Barnes Rd. Winners of the Youth Symphony Solo Competition will perform.
March 21 at 9:30 Space Foundation Discovery Center at 10am 4425 Arrowswest Dr. (off Garden of Gods Rd.) Philharmonic Violinist Karine Garibova will perform
April 18-5pm Till Kitchen 9633 Prominent Point Hosted by the CS Philharmonic. JJ Sechan, Principal Bassoon, performs.
May 16-Cheyenne Mountain Country Club at 5pm 9 Lake Ave.

October 19 at 9:30 am – MacLaren School, 303 Austin Bluffs Pkwy at Pulpit Rock Church. Program provided by Michael and Kathy Hansen and students. Refreshments will be served.
November 16 at 9:30 am – Cliff House, Williams Canyon Room Marc Neihof, bassist, from the Philharmonic entertains. Free valet parking available.
December 7, 2016 Bavarian Christmas Dinner-Briarhurst Manor Inn
January 18 at 9:30 am – Penrose Club at World Arena-Join us in the elegant Penrose Club, compliments of Pamela and Bob Street. A full buffet breakfast will be served. Entertainment provided by Cathy Hanson. Free parking on west side of World Arena, enter through Club doors next to main entrance of World Arena.
February 15 at 9:30 am – Graner Music – 4460 Barnes Rd. CS Youth Symphony Solo Competition winners.
March 15 at 9:30– Mackenzie Place, 1605 Elm Creek View, Corner of Fillmore and Union. Guild members Victor and Mary T. Thacker and MacKenzie Place are hosting the March meeting. Please plan to attend and feel free to bring a guest.

May 17 at 5:00 pm – Gold Hill Mesa Community Center.
Join the party at the last membership gathering of the season. We’ll be grilling and tapping our feet to the amazing violin/fiddle playing of Jacob Klock, acting principal second violin with the Phil. Bring your spouse or guest and join us!
